About Sci High

Position Overview
We are seeking passionate educators to join our dynamic team. Teachers at Sci High are responsible for delivering rigorous academic instruction while supporting students’ social-emotional development.
The ideal candidate builds strong relationships, engages diverse learners, and creates meaningful, student-centered learning experiences. Our educators serve as both instructors and advocates, helping students grow academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine curriculum, including scope and sequence and daily lesson plans
Participate in coaching cycles to continuously improve instructional practice
Collaborate with Exceptional Children’s Services to implement accommodations
Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior
Create a rigorous, engaging classroom environment
Build positive relationships with students
Utilize school systems effectively (PowerSchool for grades/attendance; Kickboard for behavior)
Communicate consistently and effectively with families
Contribute to initiatives that enhance student learning and school culture
Qualifications
Experience teaching in a secondary classroom preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related content area (or equivalent experience); CTE teachers must hold appropriate certification
Experience supporting students with IEPs, IAPs, inclusion, and/or gifted services
Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
Strong written and verbal communication skills
