My name is Wesley Alexander. I am a New Orleans native -particularly hailing from the Hollygrove neighborhood of uptown New Orleans. To further add, I am a former student of the New Orleans Public School System, having both attended and graduated from Eleanor McMain Secondary School in 2012. As an undergraduate student, I attended Bard College from 2012-2014 (majoring in American Studies) and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (B.S., Psychology) in 2017. In a nutshell, I realized my passion to teach as early as 4th grade. And here I am now, still pretty convinced. I suppose a fixed mindset can lead to growth, right?
