School Supplemental Fees & Grade Level Budgets

Student fees are essential in supporting our students in all aspects of school life. These fees support activities, celebrations, rewards, awards, etc. Additional costs may be necessary for class budgets, specific field trips, dances, and other optional activities. The School Supplemental Budget must be paid during each grade level orientation and before paying for optional activities.

Mandatory Supplemental Budget - $100

Payment due during students 8:00 am student & family orientation. The following is a detailed breakdown of the $100.00 School Supplemental Budget. Required of ALL students for field trips, school accidents, clubs, athletics, band, picnic, and all extra-curricular activities.

School Accident & Catastrophic Insurance - $25

All students have assessed a $25 insurance fee for coverage against accidents or injury at a school or at a school-sponsored activity and private insurance does not exempt students from this required coverage.

Schoolwide Events - $30

Student Identification Card and Lanyard - $25

Technology Matainance Fee - $25.00 - The technology Maintainance fee is not the same as a Technology Repair Fee. Please see the technology policy in the student handbook.

Additional Fees

Physical Education Uniform - $25 to $90

Mandatory for all students enrolled in physical education and health classes. Package prices are listed on the order form.

Student Athletics Activity Pass - $30

Provides access to all home games for volleyball, boys baseball, girls softball, basketball, boys basketball, and girls basketball games. Activity cards are not replaceable.

Replacement Student Identification Card - $5 each

Freshman & Sophomores

Grade Level Event - $30

Yearbook - $50

Juniors

Rising Senior Luncheon $30 - In the spring, the junior class will have an on-campus luncheon to begin looking toward their senior year and what will come thereafter. There will be a myriad of activities where students will work in large and small groups, to examine their strengths and opportunities in an environment that affirms their abilities and their specialness and allow them to grow and learn.

Grade Level Event - $30

Yearbook - $50

Seniors

Mandatory Graduation Budget: $250 - Cap, Gown, Tassel, Stole, Class Pin, Senior Alumni Bag, 10 Announcements, Diploma, Diploma Cover, and Senior Gift.

Additional Senior Options

Activities Budget: $950 - Graduation budget, senior swag bundle, senior activities (ring ceremony, senior picnic, senior brunch, Jr./Sr. prom, senior decision day, passing the nautilus, community service, senior launch, award ceremony, senior field trip, senior week, class night, Sci High yearbook plus postage.

Senior Trip: $750 - 5 Days, 4 Nights 3 Parks (Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Aquatica, Dave & Buster)

Notes

  • Student budget selections and contracts are due to Ms. Lucien by Monday, May 9, 2022.
  • Cash and Money Orders will be accepted in the front office by Ms. Ingrid Panchame’-Steer.

Cash, Money Orders Only, or Credit and Debit Card Payments Are Acceptable

Personal Checks Will Not Be Accepted

Money Orders Made Payable to: Sci High or NOCSM; Memo: Student’s Name and Grade

Please note: Payments made online or with a debit/credit card will be charged a 3% convenience charge per transaction. This will be collected through PowerSchool.
