Internet Access to Parent Portal

Access to your student's current grades, attendance and assignments is now available on the internet through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

*To create a new account, start at Section I, then go to Section II for Login instructions.

Create a Login Account

1. Open your Web browser to https://scihigh.powerschool.com/public
2. Below the login boxes, click on Create an Account
3. Enter the following:

*First Name-Parent/Guardian first name

*Last Name-Parent/Guardian last name

*Email-Parent/Guardian email to receive notifications and recover lost or forgotten username/password.

*Desired User Name-Parent/Guardian user name

*Password-Parent/Guardian password-At least 8 characters

*Re-enter password

1. Go to Link Students to Account and type in information provided by homeroom teacher or data manager.

*Student Name

*Access ID for

*Access Password for

*Relationship - Choose one (Mother,Father,etc.)

*Click Enter

NOTE: Repeat if you have more than one student. Each student has an Access ID and Access Password letter.

How to Login

1. Open Web browser to https://scihigh.powerschool.com/public

   *Enter Parent/Guardian User Name

   *Enter Parent/Guardian Password

*Click Submit. The Powerschool Parent Portal Start page appears.

Password Recovery

1. Open your Web browser to https://scihigh.powerschool.com/public. The Log In page appears.

2. Click “Having trouble logging in?” The Recover Account Login Information page appears.

3. Click the “Forgot Password?” tab, if needed.

4. Enter your user name in the first field.

5. Enter your email address in the second field.

6. Click Enter. A confirmation message appears indicating an email has been sent to you with instructions for resetting your password.

How to Recover Your User Name

Once you provide your email address, your current user name will be sent to your email.

1. Open your Web browser tohttps://scihigh.powerschool.com/public/ The Log In page appears.

2. Click “Having trouble logging in?” The Recover Account Login Information page appears.

3. Click the “Forgot User Name?” tab.

4. Enter your email address in the first field.

5. Click Enter. A confirmation message appears indicating an email has been sent to you with your current user name.

If you have internet access at home or at work, you can log on to the Parent Portal at any time. If you do not have internet access, you may visit the library or the parent room to access your student's information. Please keep the password confidential.
