NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) has announced the cancellation of all distance learning classes along with the closure of NOLA-PS central office and all school buildings for Tuesday, Sept. 15 due to Hurricane Sally.
Depending on the impacts of the storm, we will assess, on Wednesday, whether we are able to provide meal service on Thursday. An announcement will be made when food service resumes.
Sci High, along with the District, will continue to monitor the storm. As we continue to learn more on the potential impacts to our area throughout the day tomorrow, we will reassess needs for extended closures or whether we will return to distance learning on Wednesday.
Please remain vigilant and monitor the City’s announcements and updates from the school regarding the storm. We will post all storm-related announcements on our website and social media as well.
