This is an important reminder as students prepare to return to school in-person next week. NOLA-PS issued a requirement for all students 5 years and older to be vaccinated by February 1, 2022, to keep classrooms safe and to limit disruptions to in-person learning. To help provide easy access to the vaccine, NOLA-PS, in partnership with local health partners, will continue to offer vaccination opportunities to eligible students. Sci High's SBHC will also continue to provide COVID vaccines. Students in need of a vaccine can schedule an appointment by calling 504-613-5648. Vaccines are given on Thursday by appointment only. There is also a mobile service that also gives COVID vaccines on certain days. For more information about the mobile shot bus please call 504-733-3268.

If your student has received vaccinations please email a copy of their vaccination card to rjones@noscihigh.org by February 1, 2022. Students that are opting out of COVID vaccinations must request a waiver from the school. Once approved, the student will be required to get tested weekly.
