Mr. Derek A. Rankins Jr. is a New Orleans Native (9th wd), an Alumni of Sci-High class of 2009, and a Graduate of Tulane University Class of 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Afrikan Studies and Sociology. I am completing work to earn a Master in Black Catholic Theology from Xavier’s University. This is my third year in the classroom and I bring 14 years of experience working with young people in afterschool and summer programs.
