Sci High Students & Families,
This week is the final week of instruction for students. Next week students will take the LEAP 2025 Exam and final exams. It is important for students to continue preparing for exams by completing preparation assignments, study guides, and projects from their teachers.

ACADEMICS

The student entrance at North Johnson Street will open every morning at 7:15 am. Students are required to wear the full school uniform every day this week. This includes the Sci High student identification card. The full uniform policy can be found in the student handbook on the school’s website.

Important Notes:

As a continued safety measure, everyone entering the building is required to wear a face-covering per the NOLA-PS mask mandate. Face coverings are required to be worn over the nose and under the chin to help reduce the spread of COVID. In-person learning must continue and wearing masks will help Sci High's community practice our primary purpose —preparing our students for college and successful careers.

Hoods are not allowed to be worn while students are on campus. This is a safety measure for staff to easily identify Sci High students.

Personal electronic devices are only allowed to be used at breakfast and lunch during the school day. Students are not allowed to use their personal electronic devices during passing periods. Students must put their personal electronic devices away and in silent mode during classes.
