Biography

I have over 15 years of experience educating youth in both the traditional and not-so-traditional classroom. My pedagogy is steeped in empathy, flexibility, and patience as I work together with my students to forge their path to SUCCESS. After being awarded a degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington, I was accepted to the Region 12 Intensive Teacher Certification Program where I was granted my teaching certificate.

Although I’m not originally from New Orleans, I got here as soon as I could! I revel in the amazing culture and community this special city has at it's soul and feel right at home here in New Orleans. I love to cook, being out-of-doors and traveling to new adventures!
