Ambassador Program

New Orleans Charter Science & Mathematics High School Ambassadors act as mentors, facilitators, and more than anything else, friendly faces and a support network for students new to NOCSM aka Sci High.

The Ambassadors are made up of a select group of sophomores, juniors and seniors and family members that apply to be a part of the program and can commit fully to our meeting/event schedule. In order to participate in the program, Ambassadors must agree to the following:

• Attend a one-day summer training in July (date TBD)
• Attend monthly meetings
• Check-in with their assigned new students or family on a weekly basis
• Provide shadow days and tours for prospective families a few times a year
• Participate in the Freshman Orientation/STEP In Program
• Plan events to help new students and families acclimate to Sci High

If you enjoy meeting new people and want to make a positive impact on the Sci High community, we want you to become an Ambassador. Space is limited and students must be accepted into the program. To apply to become an Ambassador, please complete the online Ambassador Program Application by December 17, 2021.
