2021 APPLICATION OPEN

STAR is a cost-free opportunity for current high school Juniors who have shown an interest in the health sciences and who have a passion for service their community. We are seeking students applicants who are interested in exploring different healthcare careers with the intention of finding their path. Through this experiential learning opportunity, students will be exposed to a wide variety of career pathway and will gain essential skills necessary to be successful in their journey.

How can school leaders/teacher/counselors help?

• Forward the attached email to all high school Juniors (note there is no GPA requirement)
• Print and post the attached STAR Informational Flyer
• Encourage students to being their applications early. Applications are due on Friday, March 12^th by 11:59 PM.
• Support students who in the application process
• Note: As part of the application process, students will be asked to provide two letters of recommendation and an official copy of their school transcripts. This may be the first time students are asking for a letter for recommendation, so it can be intimidating.
