Jill Meyers and Dr. Sidney Brownstein Scholarship

$20,000 FOR A FEMALE STUDENT OF COLOR

FSME is accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Jill Meyers and Dr. Sidney Brownstein Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a female student of color at Sci High who meets the following qualifications:

• Will graduate from a Sci High by the end of the 2020-2021 academic year,
• Intend to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program no later than the Fall term of 2021-22 academic year,
• Graduated or will graduate with a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale,
• Have significant unmet financial need

Ms. Jill Meyers and Dr. Sidney Brownstein have created this scholarship to help an ambitious young woman of color realize her dreams.

Ms. Meyers is a Tulane University graduate. She has a music consulting business with a primary focus on securing rights to use music in films and TV productions, such as THE VOICE. Dr. Brownstein is a retired dentist. He had a practice for many years before transitioning into teaching at UCLA School of Dentistry.

The scholarship amount is $20,000. Applications will be accepted until March 31, 2021 at 3:30 PM.
