9th Grade Academy begins Friday, October 23, 2020. It is mandatory for 9th graders at risk of failing any course; parents will need to complete the 'opt-out' form if the student will not attend.
Parents and students can log in and subscribe to PowerSchool to view information on grades and attendance. Parents can also view behavioral information in Kickboard. Login credentials are distributed during orientation and can also be obtained by requesting them in person (for PowerSchool) or through the student’s advisor (for Kickboard). If you would like someone to guide you through the process of signing in or would like another copy of your login credentials, please contact the following individuals.

Federal law requires all schools to inspect their buildings for asbestos-containing materials and to develop Asbestos Management Plans for those materials found. Our school has completed this Asbestos Management Plan.
According to the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), parents and eligible students have the right to: 1. Inspect and review the student’s education records; 2. Seek amendment of the student’s education records that are believed to be inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise in violation of the student’s privacy rights; 3. Consent to the disclosures of personally identifiable information, except to the extent that FERPA and the School Board authorize disclosure without consent; and File with the United States Department of Education.

This policy outlines Sci High’s approach to ensuring environments and opportunities for all students to practice healthy eating and physical activity behaviors throughout the school day while minimizing commercial distractions.
All teaching or child care providers (anyone who provides or assists in the teaching, training, and supervision of a child), as well as organizational or youth activity providers (amongst many other mandatory reporters) must report to the proper authorities instances in which they have reason to believe that a child's physical or mental health or welfare is endangered as a result of abuse or neglect, or that abuse or neglect was a contributing factor in a child's death.
